ENTERPRISE JAVA BEANS


Financial Object Toolkits Ltd. has released an Enterprise Java Bean product for handling Calendars and Holidays.

The following documents for the Calendar And Holiday EJB may be viewed or downloaded.

Two white papers are currently in production describing the construction of the Calendar Nd Holiday application and also a Portfolio management demonstration that has been constructed for use in a Sun Microsystems showcase for Investment Banking. These papers will be posted to this site when they have been completed.

Free Software

The base service will be made freely available to financial institutions for a limited evaluation period to allow them to experiment with the use of Java components within an Enterprise Java Bean. Interested companies can apply here.

In order to utilise the FOTO Calendar EJB it is necessary to have an Enterprise Java Bean environment. The FOTO software was originally developed using the EJBHome environment (version 0.4). EJBHome have now been taken over by Iona and the software has been redeveloped to run in other environments. The demonstration program is currently available for :
